Steam train from bkk to ayuthaya
umm just heard an intersting news today from my mother that during HM king's birthday on the 5th dec. 2004 there will be a steam train from Bkk to Ayuthaya the cost is 100 baht and another price is 140 where u get free transport and free temple fee ..
i haven't check the price to confirm but i checked that there will be steam train operate on that day and can book the ticket from any train station...
have a nice trip .. if u guyz notice me pls say hello ..

Photograhy week
Haven't post any thing for some time now .. as life is just uninteresting..
well but for the past few days been out taking pictures .. but films are not
developed yet .. no time .. file from digital cam of my friend aren't sent yet

Wend 24 Nov.:
went to have nite shot photograhed at victory monument with Pisal and went to his house play some vdo games and went back home.
Fri 26 Nov.:
Loy krathong day. it is ceremony for thais and hindu to pay respect for the water god
Ganja or Kong Ka in thai after a of using and polluting the rivers. [Factories should build a Giant Krathong for this].
So i met with chet and his friend from his office at Suan lum .. and we found nothing intersting there .. (chet told me later that we went to early coz later at nite there would be more ppl ) so we moved to Chulalongkorn University. at Chulalongkorn is a famous spot for loy krathong festival. many interesting activities such as food, Nopamas beauty contest. But seems the show is very short.. and not as excited as last year that i went. and also every faculty have games or band playing.
found out later also from student of Chularlongkorn uni. that last year the beauty contest ended very late. as late as 2 am .. but from my point of view is ok .. coz that has some performace .. and this year they just walk in, announce the name and leave.. nice and short but boring ..
by the way at the end where was fireworks can be sighted from chulalongkorn uni. and i was rushed to put my camera onto the tripod and take few pics. i use 15 or 20 sec./ F16 exposure .. i can't wait to see how the pics come out
after that we went to Sri phraya pier to loy krathong and see fireworks from chao praya river and sathorn bridge. the fireworks werent that great. it's doesnt paused at the end of each set .. they just keep on fire one after the other. and many fireworks are repeated. might be lower cost.
a little bit later there are various fireworks can be seen at the sri phraya pier .. i guess from rama 3 and near krung thon bridge ..
Sat 27 nov.:
went with chet to the city pilar. Actually i never been there before but it's just across the road from emerald buddha temple.
once we riched there about 3pm by taxi ( it was quite late as i think the temple would be close about 4pm ) there is a street vendor try to sell us the incent stick and flower for the praying ..they sell us a set for 20 baht .. and we need 2 set each. and shop inside the temple sell them for 30 baht a set with 3 color robe to tie on the imitation pilar and the flowers are fresher.
and the atmosphere inside is very nice. place is really clean, not many visitors, plus there are loudspeakers playing instrumental music. we spent some time there praying and takeing pictures .. ohh by the way u can take pictures anywhere in there.
after that we went to a park along the road there. i think its called romaneenarj park. it's really a nice park there small but cleaner than suan lum and has more trees than benjasiri park. i would love to go there taking potrait pictures there ..

later at nite went to see movie Alexander with friends .. really tired .. come home at 3 am ...

Work at MBK
Sat 13, Mon 15, and tues 16 I am working as part time customer service, marketing reseacrh at MBK. it is not bad to get 55 baht for a set of questioniar.
on sat i was having fun working and been talking to many foreigners but yesterday the managements are asking us to find certian numbers of middle asia, africa, ocenia a part from america, europe, and asia.
there is a question asking about are u agree / disagree to stay in american chain hotel as the terroristsm is going on around the world ? the reason behind it was the MBK is going to open a new hotel and use that question to decied to use or not to use the american chain hotel.
other foreigners has no problems with it .. one of my friend was asking an american person and he was really angry with that question and about to rip the questionaire apart ..
many canadian, and european ppl are really friendly ...we talk many things about their travelling. there is one group consist of new zealand, english, and other guy couldnt remember where he was from. they worked 10 years and saved up to travel for a year. this was really cool .. the been to many countries like bali, thailand, laos, cambodia, etc.. and i felt that they spent lots of time with those countries...
yesterday, tuesday we were assigned by the management to fix no. of person per continent. i find that strange as they try to fix no. of those countries either to spread out the sample space or what but in my opinion we should let the no. of nationalities flow to tally the frequencies of the nationals.
i found the african ppl are really rare in the mbk and the middle asian ppl would not stop to answer us as the language barrier..
last nite i was really tired ... well i will go there and go head hunting again today ..
