A man's story

There was a heavy rain this morning that made my condominum blackout for hours.

I nearly wearly a polo shirt to work as I couldnt iron my shirt but luckily the electricity came back on for short while just for me to iron my shirt.

Before I left my room I was thinking that I have to walk down for 17 fl. But the eleveator is operating under power generator ( I know) I was thinking for a while that should I risk takeing the elevator or not. and at the end my laziness got in me. I took the risk. I was lucky today to come down to the 1st fl.

walk a little bit and took motor cycle taxi. A thing i never do if not necessary. It's more risky than get stuck in the elevator for sure. but for short ride w no cars is fine.

I got to the office safe and sound at 9.00am. via subway and sky train + walking.

my other co worker was stuck on Bang na rd for 2 hrs.

I was thinking that what if the whole BKK city was black out like NY. I was feeling that would I get stuck on the subway or not. but from the calculations .. the stations are not that far apart and if the train stop in the middle of the stations i could get the emergency exit and walk.

I think the city would be a mess. I'm sure there would be lots of ruberies and stuff.


this just add little spice to my life.

Ohh today had dinner with rut at MK suki .... 2 of us spent 6xx for a suki meal .. we are really a big eatter.

really had fun today after havent see any of old friends during songkran holidays

Today I took a friend to Wat Mahatart to see the monk where I ususally ask him to predict my fortune.

I reached there half an hour before our appointment due to less traffic which is great. Every body are out to there provinces during songkran holidays. Waited for a while and feeling bored so went inside the temple and pray to the buddha image. She called my cell phone and ask for the way in. After few seconds of talking I know that she doesnt know the temple so I tell her the way to meet me. After I finished praying I called her and she said the she is in front of S&P so i pick her up.

We went to the house of the monk but he wasnt there. Therefore we went to donate to the temple and went to check on him again. He still wasnt there. We went to S&P to eat some thing as I was hungry. we chat for awhile until the time we think the monk will come back.

As soon we get there, the monk ask are you going to look for the date to get married ?? We were laughing. Offcourse not !!!! I found that her fortune is very similar to mine...


After that we went to see movie at Pinklow area (major cineplex). we were watchig Pricify or some thing. It was very funny but the only thing is that only me and her were laughing .... others are so quiet....

April 13 - 15 is the songkran Day or Thai new year. during new year, people are going back to their relatives and water thier hands and they will blessed you with good thing for the year comming. The children are playing with waters with each other.

This year I went to my volunteer fire fighting unit to help them carting the buddha image around the Phranakorn district as I do every year if i am free. We start off at Wat suthat, Ban More, Saphanput, soi ratchabopitr, vitory monument and back to wat suthat.

What I found is people play water more heavier. more of ppl go on the truck with water tanks, they rent to TOok Took to play, many are play on motor cycle. Most of the ppl are drunk. They play as they own the road. there is no cars around them. Ppl on the street run accross the road to pounder the girls on the truck ... I even saw a guy fell on the road from the foot path. guessed he was drunk.

So becareful while you on the roads. these ppl are dangerous.

Today i just lay on my lazy butt and didnt do any thing much. just been washing my cloths.

yesterday been out all day. Doing so many things.

work for another 2 days and there will be Thai New Year.

Been shopping around for Cabbin size suit case. I actually was going to buy one at a japanese shoping center cost about 1800 on sales. when i went to french super store the cost is little lower .. but the quality is really bad like the glue of the inner material is comming as u touhing the materials. So i went to the third shopping center has an english name on promotion for 1990 so i take this one.

I was definatly gonna buy from the french supercenter already. at the first glance they look all the same. but soon u take a closer look they are different.

Today was gonna be my last day of life, maybe.

It was heavy rain this morning and I went to work at my usual time.Catch the
subway and connected to sky train. When I arrived at Saphan Taksin I got off
and walk to the beggining of North Sathorn Road. I take the first predestrian
crossing today as I was holding umbellar and see if I take the next one in front
of Robinson department store I have to fight with the ppl as there are street
vendors on the road.

Once I waited for the taffic jam .. i walked on the pedestrain corssing to the
middle of the road. I saw this stupid green bus speed up, move it's head lille towards the middle of the road where I was standing. If i was pannic and jump back I would
get hit by the car behind me.

Thank god i know my space and didnt jump back and the bus didnt hit me. I free my
umbellar a little. it circles itself on my hand as the bus passed.

I dont now what to say about this case. I know I'm lucky. I see many things about
this mini green bus. from speeding, racing, driver & ticket collector smoking on the bus...

I wish i got the number of the bus down. but i didnt see it.
