Reason oil price goes up
Today i have opportunity to join a conference on about stock exchange from Finansa securities ltd.
The toppic wasn't that interesting. mostly was about how thailand stock in the past, talk about SET index, etc. and later talks about it's company. But one part that the guest speaker caught my attention is that the oil prices that has been raising is partly from the Iraqi war, OPEC, suspension in the oil refinery in Russia. But more over is the speculation in oil fund. and one of the big guy is once again Mr. Soros.
She also went on that some traders are expecting the oil price to reach 100 dollars / barrel.
if that really happens i really wonder how the world economy, and espcially thailand going to be?

updates on my mom's feet
Well, first of all i have the correct the height she fell. it is 1.17 M with the tape measure instead of my eye's approximation of 0.5 M. Yep that's a big difference.
secondly, the swallen is alot better now. she can limb to toilet and about the room in a small condominium =)
from my estimation, she should be ready to run around in the next 2 days .. now i have to put her to stay still. she been sleeping on the bed since last nite until about 1pm today and now she up in the desktop computer using word processor writing email to my aunt in Japan ...

Poor mother
Yesterday about 4.30pm. My mom was climing the ladder cleaning those plastic drawers that we got it the day before. She was cleaning and moving stuff while she was on the ladder and suddenly she drops the buddha mimage poster and she fall after it.
It was about 0.5M high. Got 2 sprained ankels other than that nothing happens. luckily she's not fall on to the TV and stuff. that would make her worsen.
So i got her mussles relieve medicine, votalen emagel, and those strech cloth wrap around her ankels

Wrong brand, return it
Happens today that I have to buy new electric fan for my mother to replace the old one.
It happens that last week when i turn on the (old) fan and it didn't turned on. and i told my mother. She said that some times it happens. So told her to buy the new extension plug for it. And this morning she said that some times there is electrical sparks coming out of the cord of the fan.
So i tell her that we should get a new fan before there is a electrical short circut and my mother agrees.
after lunch today i suppose to go to my university to meet my group for the project. but since i couldn't contact other person so i decided to cancel one guy and sending message to the other guy say let's cancel today and talk in class on tues. and my mom ask me to get the fan. and she explitly tell me that "You must get a japansese brand". But when i went to the shopping center. I bought the HATARI brand. Sounds japanses to me .. (from commic Hatori Ninja). When i got home my mom jumps up and down, screaming .. that's not japanese brand .. that's a thai brand....
I was stunned for few seconds and ask her .."errr do have to change it ??" she says YES !!!! get a taxi, what ever just get a japanese brand !!! i say ok ...
I i have replaced with a panasonic .. I have phoned her about the brand panasonic the function and color before i paid..
it is actually the last one and it's the one displayed. but it is the good one with the eletronic functions and stuff. the other model is fully analog. so i get this one. and tell the staff to wrap it up as a new one. else i would hear another scream when i get home ...

Old good dayz
Just been through my yahoo group site and browsing through our gang's photos and remeber how things were in the past.
These are my close friends in Thailand. been knowing them for 7 years now. Just remember all the fun and sadness we been going through. Many of them are graduated and working already.
I felt that we don't see each other as often as we did in the younger years. Well, different people are working at different places, i can understand that.
Also mised my class mates at St. Johns Park High School (Syd., Australia). I wonder where are you guyz now, what r u doing and stuff. I did not have contact my best friend there .. Tuan Q. Tran. I really missed u man ...
If there is any reunion or any one has any address of Class of 95 and reading this blog, please tell me okay... thanx alot..
I don't know where would we be standing in 10 years times. but I wish every one for their sucess in their lives, career, and have good kids...

I would say I should have read it 5 yrs back. I really teach u lots of things. How to plan ur life and stuff.
Basicly how to manage ur assest, liablities. Be brave to invest, etc. Eventhough i am studying in Business Administration, my maths, accounting, and finace was just bearly passed. and most of them i took more than 1 time. U can see how bad i did in those subjects, and i wish i could learn much better...
all in all, it is really a nice book =)

On my way to Volunteer work
Today I have to go to volunteer work with my fire fighting unit (Rachabopitr volunteer fire fighting) at Suankulab high school. The Suankulab high school holding a walk athon event for HM Queen's birtthday and also for the antidrug campaign and stuff. We are need for traffic control(blogging the roads).
Ok, in the morning I went to one of my friend's house (Nut). Suppose to be there at 5am but sunday morning traffic is little lighter than usual so i get there at 4.45am. He got a telephone call about fire broke out at the North Sathorn road. While he was in the shower, I listen to the volunteer rescue radio band. Volunteers are go and survey the area for the estimate area of fire, entrace, and water as usaual.
I kept listening until he came out of shower and another friend came (Nu). We decide to go to see the fire as we can go that way also to the Suankularb high school.
Say we went there unequip as our equipment is at the base station. We all go into a car with no hose, no fire fighting gear as we not plan to go out fighting fire.
Once we reach the place, found out that many firefighters are there at the scene already. good. But I really sorry for those who lost their home, office. I just hope that there is no one died there.
We stay there about 15 mins and move to our destination. The Suankularb High school. We got there about 5.30am. The event suppose to starts at 7.30 but I was told to be there around 5. but this is usual for the volunteer event, i didn't like it much but starts get used to it. could get me an hour more sleep :(
So in the mean time we have a chit chat with friends. I personally don't to the base much as the school and other stuff.
ok about 7.15 am start setting buddies and the positions in the crownd. No. of participant in this event is about 5000 people. After start walking for a while one of the sole of my shoe came off. Yes the entire sole came off and other side is half way ripping already. So get my other friend note to take my position and i went to sit in the ambulance instead of him.
i felt as i didn't help much today. but it starts to feel ok as half way through the old lady couldn't walk any longer so I took her on the ambulance. and nearly the end another boy was out also. he was nearly fainted before we came but luckily he got the ammonia already. once i took him on, ask if he wants the ammonia he said already had one and feeing better already. cool.
our job ended when we reached the school again. =)

ICT Expo, Impact Arena
This is one of the pictures I took at the ICT expo 2004 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Tha Ni. August 7, 2004.
That day was so crowded. Like there was a million of people was there (just imagine). There was also 3 fairs that held at the same place so that makes the traffic go worsen.
So my friends and I decided to stay only for an hour. We could not get inside every booths. Actually just walk pass and have a peep. If it was interested than we go in if not, than just walk pass.
Any ways I got some opportunities to take pictures of the presenters there. They might not look too good, as I said that day was too crowded and I feel lazy to get them to the actions I want.

Hooked to Net?, not me..
Some research said that many people are hooked to the internet.
I thought that would never be me ...
that was old habbit before i go on broadband. I used to just logon the net, start outlook express and msn messenger, and browsing some web.
the maximum time i could spend is 3 hrs at the time. Many time less as my university account allow only 30hrs a month.
Yesterday, i found myself online and sufing from about 9 am to about 11pm :( took some time off for breakfast, lunch, and dinner ..
found myself download MP3 over 630 MB... Geesss!!!!
need to change my habbit soon ...
ok,leave u guys now ..take care ...

Dinner with friendz
Actually I was arranging a welcome party for Asian Youth Forum (2001) for Malaysian delegate, Yee Wan Chou. As he is aprentice for medical school or something at Rama Hospital.
I was busy taking exams so I wasn't arrange dinner earlier. And Yesterday he has to wait for this professor to give him the evaluation forms and stuff.
The plan was:
1pm. Meet at victory monument
2pm. Arrive at ABAC BangNa campus
7pm. Dinner at Siam Brevery Hotel
After that .. still don't know..
but he called and say the professor hasnt come yet and still don't know when will he comes. So I told him that I will go for dinner anyways coz i had meetings with friends already. If he can come, just call me. i will pick him up.
So this would be a dinner without him .. but really want him to come

After got home found out that My ADSL account working already .. HOO-RAYYYY...

Error 651 for my adsl
Mann .. today waking up eagerly waiting for my ISP (true) to open up ports for my ADSL connection:
turn on the notebook at about 9 am no signal .. ok no worry .. use normal dial up, 56k ... and use internet for a while
10.00 called the service center .. for my user name and password .. they say my account is due to be open around noon. and after that they ask for my thai id card no. than they gave me the user name and pass word.
after that i start dialing the ADSL modem
and this is the messge:
and i thought there is some thing wrong witht the driver and stuff .. so been uninstall the driver, checking the manual and all ...
every thing is still the same.
and i thought .. hang on is the ISP openning the port for me yet ? so i called and ask again .. and they say .. ummm i could not tell but should be about 1 pm...
ok thank god at least it's not from my side ..
so about 40 mins i would be traveling on Boeing 747... (if i riding concord would have some thing like T3 connect to my house :))

A long day, today
Today suppose to leave home for temple with my mom early in the morning but she got little lazy so we left home around 11 am. Our first plan is to have lunch at the Yaowaraj (Chinatown). then to temple, after that hair cut, shopping and home.
Ok, once we got on the bus and i took little nap as ususal. and i woke up remember that my friend sent me a forward mail about places to eat in the chinatown and i completely forgot about it. As i don't know many places to eat in china town during day time coz they are more of the gold shop and fruit shop or chinese hearbs, medicine and stuff. But at nite .. man lots of food.
anyways so i try my luck and found a small noodle shop between the gold shop and bank of asia. looks good. once i look inside the shop. Ohh my god .. the shop lay in a small street between the gold shop and the bank as i said but the street is some what 500m deep and pack of all the people eating and some ware waiting, but not for long to get a seat.
Once we got our table ... I ordered 2 dried egg noodles and my mom got a small rice noodeles in soup. they all default comes with look chin or the asorted balls (such as fish balls).. Lyhn has all the definitions about balls already =)
so at the end we had 5 bowls all together .. i had 3 and my mom had 2.. really delicious.
after the nice noodles we moved to the temple .. and i am going to skip that .. not so interesting.
but later when i got my hair cut.
well it is not my usual barber that i have a hair cut this time. I went to my mom's salon. Yeah a salon. Actually not realy strange for thai to go for a salon these days. like some have a unisex service already. like my old barber was also like that .. unisex one.
ok back to my mom's salon. we were tricked that her ususal barber is working today. the one she really recomemd me to come. a gay barber but cuts really good hair and cheap... sounds good to me..
ok once i got on to the shampoo bed and the worker shampooed my hair my mom found out that the barber wasn't in today. she got little angry but never mind.
so once i finished my hair cut.. look what i looked like ??
"???? speachless right???"
anyways .. i'm not too serious about my hair .. it's going to grow back in a month...
ok got to go now guys .. take care ..

Weekend spent
Umm I had a boring weekend after all.
After 4 exams in past 5 days really burned me down. Just feel like don't want to do any thing more. Luckily my next exam is on next thursday wow .. feel like a long time? yes and no . ieie coz Monday (tomorrow) have to go to temple with my mom..
ok, get back to my weekend .. as you know on saturday i went to apply for my ADSL internet account. and today just do the customization with this blog. It was really fun to do. Umm, the stat counter was added and the chatter was also added. More over, been visiting many of our blogger.com members :D
ok, now about time for me to headed for my study...
